Today is a wonderful illustration of how random weather patterns can be.
Indian Hill received 1.2" of rain. Just 6 miles South, Bryn Mawr CC got less than one half inch. And only 5 miles Northwest, Sunset Ridge had a 3.5" soaking!

Dear Golfing Member,
The weather looks to be turning a corner in our favor, finally! As you make your way out to the golf course this spring, we'd like to point out a new feature for those players riding carts.
At the approach to each green, on the edge of both sides of the fairway, you'll see a short white stake topped in green plastic. Imagine a line between the two stakes that is intended to indicate where riding cart traffic should exit the fairway.
The aerial photograph below illustrates a typical green complex and the appropriate traffic pattern for riding carts. By using small stakes we have the opportunity to move them occasionally & spread out the wear patterns associated with riding cart traffic.
Thank you for your consideration, better playing conditions will be the result of your cooperation!
See you on the golf course.

Snow melt is revealing an ice layer on some greens as thick as 4". A slow steady thaw is preferred as some grasses quickly lose their winter hardiness.
