This bunker on the left side of #9 is filled with cicada killer wasp galleries daily. Every morning we tour the course with wasp spray and fill the wasp galleries with insecticide. Spraying into the galleries will sometimes eliminate adult wasps but will always reduce populations by aborting egg development.

The wasps won't sting people, they are however very aggressive. They also are seasonal and I believe the population will be peaking soon. Good news if you're a cicada or a wayward golfer.

Congratulations to Fernando, Miguel, Victor & Jesus. Today they finished up edging and flood restoration of all 69 sand bunkers on the property.

If a GOLFER could see the pride these boys put into their work, they'd never again walk up a bunker face or leave their footprints unrepaired.
